✅ Primary circuit NTC probe The thermistor is an NTC (negative temperature coefficient) probe, located on the body of the three-way valve. It is a variable resistor made of semiconductor material, with the following behaviour: “as the temperature it is exposed to changes, its resistance will vary inversely, and vice versa”. With this characteristic, the thermistor is the element that informs the control device (electronic board processor) which modulates the boiler.
